Concentrate on doing your best for God, work you won't be ashamed of, laying out the truth plain and simple. Stay clear of pious talk that is only talk. Words are not mere words, you know. If they're not backed by a godly life, they accumulate as poison in the soul. Hymenaeus and Philetus are examples, throwing believers off stride and missing the truth by a mile by saying the resurrection is over and done with.

We have all made some mistakes that we need to move on from. Let the Holy Spirit occupy you. He will help you push out the failure thoughts. You are loved extravagantly and enormously by a God who will never leave you or forsake you. Go and do likewise.

When I can't sleep, I look at the time and I end up with a corresponding Bible verse in my head. I try to sleep but it doesn't work so I have to get up and look it up. I've been awake since 2:30. I don't know why that Joel is the book that popped into my brain but here it is. I'm going back to bed.

I wonder if the secret to lasting love is to keep repeating the beginning. Is it really that difficult to imagine that every kiss is still like the firstkiss? Slow down and savor the moment, it will be easier to remember the moment and reproduce the moment.

WHEN YOU MEET A HATER BE A REGURGITATOR
OF LOVE
Jesus was fed a meal of rejection, abandonment, scorn, torture and death.
His executioners fed his body to the grave.
The grave regurgitated Jesus as a new meal called the Bread of Life.
He is the last supper you will ever need.
In the midst of agony, Jesus didn't try to retaliate.
Instead, he regurgitated hate as love:
"Father forgive then for they know not what they do."
When you meet a hater, be a regurgitator of love.
Take hate and mix it with the oils of the Holy Spirit within your heart and return love upon the hater.

"It wasn't so long ago that we ourselves were stupid and stubborn, dupes of sin, ordered every which way by our glands, going around with a chip on our shoulder, hated and hating back. But when God, our kind and loving Savior God, stepped in, he saved us from all that. It was all his doing; we had nothing to do with it. PRAYER LEGS
I'm glad Moses did more than pray.
Moses was standing in front of the Red Sea with a million of his peeps who looked like dead ducks at the hands of the Egyptian Army. He cried out to God and God said "Why do you cry out to me? Take the staff that is in your hand and stretch it out over the Sea." Moses had to do more than pray.

What about you, do you need to do more than pray?
Youth With A Purpose Inc. needs help.
You don't have to put your life in danger by coming into a dangerous city and demonstrating love to children in greater ways. You can help mentor some young people. You can sponsor some young people. You could donate a van. I know that you pray for us and we love that you do.

Time is of the essence to put legs to our prayers. Too many young people are slipping through the cracks of abuse, violence, prison and death. Please give legs to your prayers and do something. Moses (at God's urging) did more than pray and the peeps who were dead ducks walked on dry ground to new life. Will you help the young people of Buffalo walk through to new life?

 GREATER PARENTING - GREATER LOVE We have been called to do greater things and Parenting is one of the greatest of the greater things. If I could write these words on a brick and drop them in your heart, I would! When your child is on stage, they want to know that you took the time to be there. To stand on stage and look out and see the eyes of your Mom or your Dad is an action from the heart. This action is the seeking of love and approval that builds self esteem. You have been called as a Parent to show greater love than you have received. Time is of the essence, show greater love today
